Our Story

Amidst the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic, Preeminent Institute (formerly Tom's Language School) emerged on July 23, 2020, signifying a modest yet significant genesis. Our journey embarked with a heartfelt virtual inauguration conducted via Google Meet, exclusively attended by our esteemed circle of family and close acquaintances. Originally recognized as Tom's Language School, our evolution transpired in 2022, culminating in the rebranding to Preeminent Institute, a strategic alignment reflecting our expansive vision, mission, and objectives.

Motivated by a profound sense of purpose, we established Preeminent Foundation for Community Engagements, initially in Canada and later extending our footprint to India. Our unwavering dedication to education and community involvement propelled the inception of this platform, facilitating the optimization and magnification of our endeavors' societal impact. United by a shared vision, we aspire to catalyze positive transformation and foster enduring societal enrichment.

• 2020:
  Registered Tom's Language School as a Sole Proprietorship under BC Registries.
  

• 2021:
  Partnered with IDP Education LTD.
  Completed CELPIP Training.
  Became a CELPIP Network Official Member approved by Paragon Testing Enterprises.
  Conducted a Webinar on "Communication Skills in Counselling and Behavior Change" for teachers in Kerala State, as part of the SEED project by Mathrubhumi Newspaper, supported by Federal Bank.
  

• 2022:
  Conducted a Webinar on "Social Work Opportunities Overseas" for students and teachers at Krupanidhi Degree College, Bangalore, India.
  Renamed Tom's Language School to Preeminent Institute for Community Engagements and English Language Learning and registered as a Sole Proprietorship under BC Registries.
  Registered Preeminent Foundation in Vancouver and incorporated under the Societies Act.
  Partnered with Cancer Treatment Options and Management Inc. to conduct a Global Research Study on "Naturopathic Cancer Treatments".
  Partnered with Anand Immigration Incorporated and conducted a webinar on "Pathways to Permanent Residence in Canada".
  

• 2023:
  Registered Preeminent Foundation India under the Trust Act in the State of Kerala.
  Completed PTE Academic Certified Associates Program Training and became a licensed PTE tutor.
  Launching French and German Classes.
  Conducted webinar on Advance Care Planning.
  Partnered with IECBC to provide mentoring services to their clients.
  Partnered with PICS Society to provide mentoring services to their clients.
  

• 2024:
  Consultant for Fraser Health Authority in their virtual health project for South Asian communities in B.C (January - June 2024).
  Partnered with Rheinland Privatschule to provide language and international educational opportunities to prospective students.
